Walk n' Talk Outing # 18

Happy Spring! Our April walk details follow.

Where: Hokkaido University Campus

We will meet in front of or right inside the Information Center which is situated on the left-hand side right after you enter the Main Gate of the campus.


When: Tuesday, April 16th from 10:00 to 13:00/13:30.

We will start walking at 10:05 and meet back at the Information Center by 11:05 to walk to the restaurant for lunch starting at 11:30.

Lunch: We will enjoy The Buffet at Daimaru
The basic course is ¥1880. For over 60, the cost will be ¥1680

If it should rain, we will meet by the white round stone outside of Daimaru on the ground level at 11:30 and walk underground a bit before heading to lunch.

Summary

Thirteen members came out to enjoy our walk through parts of the Hokkaido University Campus. With a temperature of about 20C, it was perfect for walking and socializing with each other. We were pleasantly surprised to encounter a fellow member on his way to work! Small yellow and blue flowers greeted us and spring was in the air. Two other members joined us for lunch bringing our lunch total to fifteen. As one member described it, "It was a smiling success!"
