Mitsui Outlet Mall
Where: Mitsui Outlet Mall for a winter indoor walk
Meeting spot: We will meet at the Mitsui Outlet Mall Food Court (in the corner farthest from the food) at 11:30 to start our walk. If you arrive after that you can call either Keiko or Peggy so you can join us walking.
We will walk for exercise at a brisk pace or a more relaxing pace without concern of falling on ice! There are also places to sit and wait if some want to walk more than others. We plan to walk for an hour or so and meet at the food court for lunch about 12:40.
When: Tuesday, March 5th from 11:30 to 14:00/14:30.

If you need a ride, please contact the person you hope to catch a ride with by emailing them directly. If anyone other than the ones mentioned above is driving, please email us and indicate if you can give others a ride if needed and from what area. OR there is public transportation (50 minutes by direct bus from Sapporo Station (in front of Tokyu Department Store)
Lunch: Food Court. There are a variety of restaurants in the food court from which members can make their lunch choices.
To give us an idea of the size of our group, we hope to hear from you by March 1st. You can let us know if you plan to come by responding to this email. However, if you won’t know until the last minute please feel free to just show up on the day.

Summary
On Tuesday the 5th a fun group of nine members were able to come out and enjoy our indoor walk! It was so pleasant to walk without wondering about slipping on the ice! Different members walked together going various routes around the mall before gathering and enjoying the lunch of their choice in the food court. After lunch, groups continued walking for about 30 minutes plus some took the opportunity to shop at their favorite stores. It was fun to gather together and we are already looking forward to the next walk which we hope can be outdoors.
