Odori Park and Akarenga Government Park
Where: Sapporo TV Tower and the Akarenga Govt. Park

This time we will try a two-part walk. You can join in all or any part of the walking depending on your time and situation.
Part One
For those that want to walk longer, we will meet inside the ground level of the TV Tower in Odori Park at 11:00 a.m. We will walk along Odori Park to Akarenga Govt. Park taking a 25- 30 minute route
Part Two
For those wanting a shorter walk, you can wait and meet us at Akarenga Govt. Park entrance at one of two times.
If you want a 60-minute walk including time to the restaurant meet us at 11:30.
If you want a 40-minute walk including time to the restaurant meet us at 11:50.
We will walk and explore the grounds on both sides of the entrance before heading to the restaurant which is about a 10-minute block away. We will leave the entrance of Akarenga Govt. Park at 12:15 p.m. to head to lunch.
At any time, a group can take off and arrange to meet back at the entrance gate. If it is cold people can warm up inside the government building or go underground for a short walk. Let’s be flexible as Hokkaido heads towards its winter weather!

Summary
The weather cooperated with a cool but sunny day to enjoy walking and talking together. Four of us met at the TV Tower and enjoyed peacefully strolling along to the Akarenga Government Park where we were met by two other members. We wandered through the beautiful nature surrounding the government building and then headed to lunch. At lunch, we were joined by three more members so nine of us had a fun time chatting and eating together. We were delighted to welcome three new club members to this Walk n' Talk event!
